Kate Middleton looked gorgeous in a white Catherine Walker collar dress to attend a Garter Day ceremony in Windsor Castle on Monday, June 17, 2019.

The ceremony is to recognise and celebrate the most senior knights (both male and female) in Britain for their public service.

Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Queen Maxima of the Netherlands, and Kate Middleton on Garter Day.

Multiple members of the royal family also participated in the centuries-old tradition which was established by King Edward III almost 700 years ago.

Today is World Blood Day 2019 - "Be there for someone else. Give blood. Share life."

June 14, 2019 marks the World Blood Donor Day.  The global event holds in Kigali, Rwanda - the host country for World Blood Donor Day 2019. 

The global UN campaign is celebrated every year since its inception in 2004 to raise awareness about blood donation by the "World Health Organisation, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies”.

The theme of this year's campaign blood "Be there for someone else. Give blood. Share life."  The campaign is to raise awareness about the universal need for safe blood in the delivery of health care and the crucial roles that voluntary donations play in achieving the goal of universal health coverage.

People all over the world are encouraged to become blood donors and give blood regularly for sustainable national blood supplies and effective health systems across the globe.
