Michelle Obama and husband Barack hosted dignitaries to the 13th state dinner in honor of the Prime Minister of Singapore Lee Hsien Loong and his wife Ho Ching in Washington.  The event also marked the 50th anniversary of bilateral relations between the U.S. and Singapore, an island nation of about 5.7 million people.

Michelle Obama opted for a strapless, unadorned ivory column gown by American designer Brandon Maxwell.

For the welcome ceremony #FLOTUS stunned in a brilliant yellow Naeem Khan dress featuring intricate floral applique, a sleeveless halter-style neckline, and semi-sheer hemline.  Michelle paired the outfit with a matching leather belt, nude heeled sandals, and emerald green earrings.
