Hillary Clinton makes history, gets Democratic President Nomination for the White House

Hillary Clinton has been formally nominated as the Presidential candidate of Democratic Convention. She becomes the first woman ever to be the standard-bearer of a major U.S. political party.

The 68-year-old former secretary of state exceeded the 2,382-delegate threshold needed to clinch the nomination amid huge applause in the hall.

Congrats to her.
