Hillary Clinton has been formally nominated as the
Presidential candidate of Democratic Convention. She becomes the first woman ever to be the standard-bearer of a major U.S. political party.
The 68-year-old former secretary of state exceeded the 2,382-delegate threshold needed to clinch the nomination amid huge applause in the hall.
Congrats to her.
