#Fashion: Your Complete Spring 2016 Trend Guide at a Glance

As we are almost close to saying goodbye to the current year, it is also the best time to update the closet for 2016. All the major spring-summer 2016 fashion weeks have ended, and most fashion houses have already reviewed the collections for good, bad and average. In this special post, let’s talk of some of the most interesting and happening trends of spring 2016 with some unique ideas on how you can do for less.
Playing with the shoulder: Many designers including likes of Giambattista Valli, Prabal Gurung and Louis Vuitton chose to highlight shoulder area of the outfits with cut-outs. The idea works especially well for summers and spring as you can choose to be trendy without indulging in too many things. The good thing is you don’t just have to shop for designer stuff, as many regular brands do have uniquely designed outfits in their collections, and if you want to shop in budget, click here.

Twisting the classic: Like most other fashion followers, you may have at least one or couple of regular white shirts as summer classics, but there’s something more to grab next year. Some of the biggest fashion houses have twisted the regular white shirt to add more boldness and edge, and it works totally. Starting from Anthony Vaccarello and Amanda Wakeley to Proenza Schouler and Jil Sander, there are many ideas that you can steal.
More of pleats: Pleated skirts and dresses are more like evergreen things to own, as you can expect to see them time and again on the runways and beyond with some desirable twists. Carolina Herrera, Gucci, Chanel and Emilio Pucci are some of the big names that chose to work with pleats with amazing detail, and it does work big time, especially with the season. Go for floral or choose something basic- the choices are more than many and varied for every girl!

Lovely ruffles: Another trend that will catch up big time in the months ahead is use of ruffles. Amazingly appealing and truly feminine, ruffles can make or break a look and tend to get attention straight away. Thankfully, most designers have tried their own things, so you have detailed dresses at Rosie Assoulin and Roberto Cavalli, while some ruffled ideas can be also seen at Mary Katrantzou and Carolina Herrera. If there has to be one thing that you must invest in designer clothing, this trend can be a good contender.

Finally, let’s also talk of stripes, which emerged as one of the new trends on the block, with the only difference that most of the new age strips are broader and bolder. You can choose to check a few known names, including Christian Dior, Alexander Wang and Max Mara to get a few ideas. Finally, do consider your personal closet and try to use the things you already own for a great spring!
